It’s been a busy few weeks for the team at Darkwood. They have been working hard on several updates and improvements to the game and are now ready to share some of the highlights with you. 

 

• First up, they have made some changes to the game’s economy. 
• They have rebalanced some items and resources and added a new currency: blood. 
• Blood can be used to purchase unique items from vendors, and it can also be used to upgrade your character’s abilities. 
• They have also made some changes to the game’s combat system. 
• They have rebalanced many weapons and abilities.
• Added a new area to the game, the Forest of Shadows. This dark and dangerous place is home to some of the most dangerous creatures in Darkwood, so enter at your own risk.

A brand new level: The Sewers. This level is filled with dangerous creatures, so be sure to bring your best gear.

 

1.1. How to Access the Sewers

First, you’ll need to find the sewer grate located in the woods. Once you’ve found it, interact with it, and you’ll be given the option to enter the sewers. 

 

Once you’re in the sewers, you’ll be able to explore and find new, previously inaccessible areas. Be sure to watch out for enemies, though! We hope you enjoy the new update and happy exploring.

These sewers are filled with dangerous creatures, so be prepared for a fight. We’ve also added a new questline that will take you through the sewers and ultimately lead you to a confrontation with the Beast of Darkwood.

2. New Area: The Mines

The Mines! is a great new addition for those who enjoy a good spelunking adventure. Be warned that The Mines are not for the faint of heart. 

 

They are dark, they are dangerous, and they are full of deadly creatures. But if you are up for the challenge, I say go for it. Explore The Mines and see what treasures you can find. Just be careful, and watch your step.

 

2.1. How to Access the Mines

Darkwood added a whole new area to the game for you to explore, and there’s plenty of new loot to be found down there. To access the Mines, head to the southwest corner of the map.

 

2.2. What’s in the Mines

In the Mines, you will be able to find new ore deposits to mine and new enemies to fight. Be careful, though, as the Mines are dangerous, and you will need to be prepared for anything.

 

3. New Weapon: The Harpoon

This new weapon is perfect for taking down large, tough enemies. It can also be used to fish for rare items in the water.

 

3.1. How to Get the Harpoon

Darkwood update added a new area to the map – the Wreckage. This area can be accessed by swimming through the water at the north end of the map. Once you’ve reached the Wreckage, you’ll need to find the Harpoon. 

 

This can be found by searching the crates and barrels in the area. Once you’ve found the Harpoon, you can use it for fishing for items in the water. This is a great way to get rare items that you wouldn’t be able to find otherwise.
